I was struggling for 8 months with Plantar Fasciitis. I cannot take non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medications but did all the exercises recommended by my GP and used shop bought orthotics. I also had 2 rounds of cortisone injections without any relief. I heard about shockwave therapy from a relative and looked for a podiatrist who practiced this. Karl recommended custom orthotics in conjunction with 4 to 6 sessions of Shock wave therapy and regular calf stretches. Pain was 10/10 initially but halved within 2 weeks.
